Update : What have I been doing?

What have I been up to in Japan ...?
 Sometimes it doesn't feel like I've been up to much but when I look back through my calendar, I have been quite busy really. Mostly work but then a far amount of social stuff too.

I recently moved to Ageo  but when I lived in Soka , my week would consist of working during the day and then teaching extra lessons and occasionally  seeing friends in the evenings. My weekends were (and still are) spent with K.
Now my weeks are pretty quiet, just working in the day and no lessons in the evenings. I'm sad to have lost the evening classes but I guess it gives me free time to study and blog ( catch up on Mad Men, Game of Thrones etc etc haha).

Update:New nail varnishes

I really should stop making post and then saving them because when I come to post them ,the dates and timeframes are all wrong and i have to re word them anyways:(
 Seeing Mitsu's post on nails trends recently reminded me that i hadn't posted this yet:O(it also makes me want to start experimenting with my nails again:O)

Couple of weekends ago I received my nail varnishes from  enchantedbeautyspot at ebay which I ordered a while ago but thanks to the ash cloud hadn't received until recently.

The Friday before  I hunted downs Barry-M's ice cream nail varnish range,and I picked up Blueberry and Berry ice cream:D

I fell out of the habit of doing my nail:( and with my job I don't actually think I'm allowed to have them painted but i do anyways because I like having them painted more than i like my job besides noone's said anything yet.

Love this one,Its the exact same shade of coral i used in my final major project last year.

Downside is it doesn't mix well with a top coat.It turned the polish a weird orange colour instead of the gorgeous coral it comes out as.Thus its a polish to wear without top coat which makes its more prone to chips:(

Also instersting to see what my brand habits are.

Clearly I love Barry-M~its good quality for the price though some of them require more coats than others and they also have a very good range of colours:)

I prefer OPI and Chinaglaze for longer lasting polishes:)

My one and only Mavala polish is missing from this photos:S I love it thought,its the perfect blue based purple and has outstanding lasting and coverage.Definitely need to buy more mavala polishesXD

Also finally got around to buying a new make up bag,since my one is far too small for my daily make up

End of April I took a day trip to Norwich to see my old house mate and decided to buy a face mask from Lush and the lovely sales girl gave me the other one for free as it was nearing the end of it shelf life and because she was nice:D

Also picked up some trainers for High jump unfortunately for my friend who wanted me to join the gym their not running shoes thou:O

The day after(Sunday) my friend and I went for are usual end of month coffee at our local costa only to discover it was closed .Thus ending with us going for coffee at Sandringham,:Dawww look at the cute stuffed corgis:D

Brought my 1st Elle in a long while and was disappointed "beauty special"?? ehh no

began doing a continuous line drawing a day(hence the scruffy appearence) I can draw neatly but i prefer it looking alittle more messy:) and abstract

Returned home after a trip out to find  my present(black cats peanut butter) from my dad's recently trip to South Africa had arrivedXDI love peanut butter!!
The other peanut butter I brought myself much to my sisters dismay at the cost...what can i say,I like good quailty peanut butter!! Made with just nuts and oil.

I've got a few things I've yet to blog about recently.Those following my twitter might have notice tweets relating to driving ,your probably thinking but your 23!!Surely you can drive!!I did learn before uni but then obviously money was an issue (as my course was stupidly expensive with material costs,so much in fact I think they should have put it in the brochure "don't apply unless your loaded or can go without food for a while" lol) so i quit my lessons and never passed.
Once finishing uni I was determined that in this year off while working I would get my driving license ,so far I've gotten distracted and wasn't sure who to get lessons with etc etc.

Cut to the end of March,during the trip to Leeds,my cousin who was immigrating to OZ(lucky) told my mum about how she's selling her Volkswagen at a stupidly low price.So my mum brought it off her but what to do with her old car?Well she gave it to me.
Just to clarify its not as jammy(spolit) as it seems.The Nissan is an old car and it was inherited,so my mums not losing any money on it since she paid nothing for it and thought it best to give me it seeing as I'll probably never be able to buy a car of my own ever.
Its still very lucky thou,i wont deny that.

So with that in  mind I've had to resume my driving lessons pretty prombtly and they're going well so far but I still need to practices and will hopefully book my theory for next month:) and fingers crossed be driving by june or july latest.


Also on the cards is my summer holidayXD I've been talking it over for the last 3 months with some of my friends and we finally got our act together and semi-sorted it out.

Hopefully we'll be going to Crete,I REALLLLY need a holiday,my jobs being massive stressful and making me miserable tbh.
So job stress and "what do I want to do with my life?" stress has been getting me down which is also another reason for my lack of internet activity in the past few months:(Lame isn't it.

Well I think I'll be there Spring 2011,I spoke to a friend recently and she expressed an interest in going while the cherry blossoms were out .So im hopefully going with her now.Which gives me longer to save XD
Any suggestions for accommodation would be appreciated :) But it is many many months away,suppose it can hurt to be overly prepared thou:)

Finally! An update:D

Sorry for the absence,My computers been down for a week and a half and I didn't fancy arguing with my (older:O) sister for the family PC ,which she has grown very attached to recently:S.

Other then computing problems ,I've been working(as usual...boring)
However I did get ...... promoted at work and now will be on a trial run of being the new stock assistant(or a title like that).

So in honor of that,I got home last night at about 12.40am...........from work!!!:O
It was our annual stock take,which took a lot longer than anyone had predicted.

Unlike my colleagues though I enjoy stock take(I must be odd),so it wasn't too much of a bore.I prefer it to dealing with customers,largely because my shop has a magnet for all the angry customers out there.

and today....as I'm running low on my colourstay I thought I'd make the most of Boots current 3 for 2 offer.

I'm not liking Revlon colourstay as much these days,its alittle too cakey looking I feel for my everyday(work) look.
I'm currently researching other foundations to replace it as my everyday one.NARS looks good,but I think its very expensive ,so I'm thinking about bare escentuals.I've tried it before,but I'm unsure.

Any foundation suggestions??

Oddly I can remember roughly which foundations seem to crop up the most in gyaru magazines. From what I can remember,Revlon seems a favourite in Egg and NARS in JELLY (otheres seem to be a mix of those two with some MAC and RMK thrown in as well)
I notice a lot of MAC products in Popteen and Aya Suzuki from Ranzuki last time I looked had a lot of NARS products.
I don't know why I've remembered these things:S

Speaking of gyaru...It's something that interest me and influences me a lot yet oddly I NEVER post about it.I suppose I don't because I feel that my knowledge's is lackingand that I don't think that I'm a particularly stylish person.I try though.

However I will be trying to post more about other things that interest me so this blog isn't solely about my recent purchases:D
