Update : What have I been doing?

What have I been up to in Japan ...?
 Sometimes it doesn't feel like I've been up to much but when I look back through my calendar, I have been quite busy really. Mostly work but then a far amount of social stuff too.

I recently moved to Ageo  but when I lived in Soka , my week would consist of working during the day and then teaching extra lessons and occasionally  seeing friends in the evenings. My weekends were (and still are) spent with K.
Now my weeks are pretty quiet, just working in the day and no lessons in the evenings. I'm sad to have lost the evening classes but I guess it gives me free time to study and blog ( catch up on Mad Men, Game of Thrones etc etc haha).

Life:update, travel

I'm sure every post I've made this years has started with the exact same sentiments...."I haven't posted much...Im sorry ...wow its been a while..blah blah blah" and after ever post I say to my self I will get back on the posting wagon .......and then don't because of some reason or other.

Initally I wasn't posting because I was having issues with posting pics which in turn just made me not want to blog.I have a lot of post ideas but ultimately get  put off with the idea of sitting on my computer for hours  preparing a post only for blogspot not to upload any of my pictures or just the 1 out of a load(yerr annoying) and then just giving up.

Why now?Tbh blogging   became a chore  and I would feel stressed at the idea of prepping a post.
 When it gets like that you know you need a break or to quit entirely.
Anywho I hadn't thought about it for months and months and then I had a few people ask me "what are you doing with your blog?are you still blogging?You should start again..etc etc" .....and my reply would be well at the moment its dormant but I intend to write again I just need some time and some inspiration.(So I hope that I can make time from now on and since the trip I've felt far more inspired to write)

So quick update,most of my time since I stopped regularly updating has just revolved around work and sleep.I work a lot of evenings (which was when I liked to blog) and incidentally never ended up doing much,due to saving for my trip and an epic hatred for my home town and its lack of facilities.

I also took on another job again but its not like before(where I sometimes ended up working 20 days straight and not knowing which job I was suppose to be at)as I'm only a bank teacher(reserve) and thus when they have the work I get called in.Good experience but well since its unreliable I haven't been able to give up my main part time job (which I do kinda  kinda loath sometimes..its shitty minimum wage)

anddddd .....I went to Japan!(back in October/Novemeber for 3 weeks)
I had been wanting to go for a very long time but just never seriously got round to organising things.Then this years after completing some goals(CELTA,getting some drive/ambition back)  and being offered (very generously) accommodation at my friends who lives there.
I used my tax rebate(yerr they were taxing my min wage job the bastards!) and after some thinking/getting opinions,I did it! I booked my tickets,flew on my own for the first time(I've flown before just never on my own or for so long,) I decided to go alone because if I'd waited for my friends I'd have been waiting a really long time!aka never.
Best decision I've made all year!!Love it!I had an amazing time,ate lot of awesome food,saw lots of interesting thing and meet lots of wonderful people(who made the trip infinity more wonderful than it already was).

Life:general update,hair

Short little post,I've changed my entry titling to make it simple for people to find post that interest them.
So titles starting with life are me,other topics are Gyaru,Make up,Fashion and the odd Review etc etc

Update:I went to Wales to see my friend at uni there,it was gorgeous and just the break i needed.When I came home my Australian cousins came to stay , my mum and I took them to Cambridge for the day thou that ended up being a shopping trip rather then a historic touristy tour:O
This week I've been sorting out my life and trying to get a better job,thou i had a dream last night that i got fired!!(no i haven't been watching the apprentice) it was an odd dream thou and i didn't like the feeling.:S

About 2 months ago being inspired by Momoko's two toned hair i dyed my hair.Using Rusk dye from Sally's I dyed the under part "Light Blonde " (but the hair swatch at Sallys was really a light ash brown)thou as my hairs so dark it came out darker but i like it:).The above photos(lol cheesy grin) are the best i got and they seem to make it look gingery when its more Carmely irl.

Hey hey, I've missed blogging and I'll start by apologising for my disappearance and hope that from now on i can post weekly:D

So what have I been up to since i last posted (which was about 2 month agoTAT),not much and also a lot...ehh
I've mostly been working but then I've also been using most of my free time to see friends who are back for the summer.

I've been working on my application for a CELTA course  too since i have to get out of this humdrum town.It's also that  time of the year again where I'll be another year old ,cue mid-mid life crises where i woe and lament over being another year older and effectually achieving nothing.(no worries thou,it didn't last long this year and im back to being cheerful and XD)

Just a post to assure you all I've not forgotten about blogging and commenting.I'm just on a unofficial hiatus at the moment (which I suppose I've just made official :D)Sorry:( i do miss blogging.

Why? Aside from not having the time at the moment ,Im working on my Celta application and told myself I couldn't blog until I'd finished.Mean I know but I had hoped it would spurn me on to finish my application so I could return.........I can say that it is  nearly done XD
I am also in the process of trying to get a 2nd job as my current job can't offer me enough hours:(

Oh and also I'm thinking of dying my hair two toned I was gonna do it the standard half and half but after seeing Mitsu's post on  it ~here. I'm thinking about doing a gradation instead:D.I'm so indecisive thou so your opinions would be greatly appreciated :D

Update:Outfits,make up,nails and recent revlon lipsticks I brought plus swatches:)

 So before my recent blush boom,I was craving lipsticks(still am really:O)

So after browsing my local Superdrugs and looking at the new realesed Revlon lipsticks~Color Burst

I felt drawn to the matt collections,I don't usually buy lipsticks especially drugstore ones as I find most have a lustre on them which i think looks old.

Anyways I found myself really liking alot of Revlon's lipsticks,Im usually abit wary of buying lipsticks as i don't fully know what colours suit me and I worry they'll look rubbish.So after going home empty handed I had a gander on ebay to try and find one particular colour I felt drawn to Strawberry suede and ended up finding 4 brand new lipsticks for about £10 :O which is brill considering they retail at £7.50 each!

 So I ended up getting ,Nude Attitude(which I wanted to try),Pink Pout, Pink about it and Strawberry Suede(which was the one i wanted in the 1st place)

So I like them all but my fave now is Pink Pout,I think the darker colours ages me alittle but still wearable.
however I really need to wear a lipliner with these lipsticks,so I shall have to invest:)

I never wear this on its own,I don't find it a particularly nice formula but it works well at concealing your lipcolour,so I use it as a base for nude lips and add pink gloss over it.

A fair few gyaru models have this lipstick, Kumikki, Suzu, Tsubasa (their the only ones i can think of off the top of my head)

After Seeing Jenny's(aka SushiCat) post about theses lashes I had to buy some aswell,I've got cheap bulk ebay lashes before,but for some reason hadn't brought any more cute/different styles.Such a good way to try them out and so cheap it doesn't matter if you ruin themby layering them up:D

Shopping service goods and my trip to London

I ache:( but it was worth it.Yesterday I bit the bullet and returned to athletics after a 5year break:O
Needless to say i am mega rusty at it hence the ache-ness today(and cos i didn't warm up properly~fail!)

Back in high school I loved doing athletics,come the summer it was what i looked forward to so im glad to be resuming it.
I started yesterday on the high jump and got  positive feedbackXD  the jist being ~Im rusty but good(well for someone who hasn't done it for such a long time) unfortunately I can't for the life of me remember any of my personal bests (pb)ToT
1m20 keeps popping up in my memories thou,so i know I've jumped that before just can't remember if it was my pb or not:s
Anyways yesterday I could jump up to 1m20 but could quite clear 1m20:( well the trainer said i was clearing it but was jumping too soon and consequently coming down on the bar:(
In long jump I managed to jump 2m90 both amounts are nothing to brag about but its an achievement to me because i haven't done either of them for such a long time.

So enough sports talk what else....
I still hate my job even more so now my boss changed my hours.Went to London 2 weekends ago to see my friend.Still trying to keep up with commenting and blogging.Recieved my shopping service order today:D

WC Skirt and "I want to become a scientist" tshirt.

I brought the black skirt despite reallly wanting the white one and Mitsu also suggesting the white.If i'd brought the white,i know what would have happened
It would have been ruined within the hour:(

Im pretty happy with it all,
WC good are a good quality fabric and make:)Tshirt fits me fine despite me being a uk10/12.Skirt is alittle on the short side which was to be expected as  i am 5'9 :O
Can't decide if the skirt is almost scandalous or just short,the back is verging on O_o!!

The mag is awesome if abit oddly big:S oh well looks nice on my bookshelf i guess.
Hat is well made especially for a freebie.
I love the eco bag!!It an ideal size and the print is simple but cute,thou i can't see the straps withstanding too much weight.

London

So my trip to London just consisted of  wondering around camden markets(as i haven't been there for a very long time) and having an cheap but lovely day with my friend who i've not seen since before Xmas:O

We chatted,wondered,brought japanese alcopops and cake to eat and search endlessly for a working cash machine!!:O All in all a good dayXD

There was this awesome shop near piccadilly where you could paint your own elephant,so wished it hadn't been a sunday and we'd had more time.Cos i really wanted to paint an elephant:D

Speaking of elephants,there where lots of elephants around central London

Also wondered passed Liberty(love Liberty ,the building ,their fabrics XD) Liberty bike anyone??yes please.I love the shape and patterns.

Brought the most amazing cakes from China town(strawberry one is for me and the choco one i brought to bring home for my sister)

Stocked up on ramen and brought some random drinks,had them all before but its nice to have something other than water sometimes:)

  Thursday I took advantage of Superdrugs current 3 for 2 on skincare and brought a new moisturiers,hand moisturiser and St Ives warming scrubs(i am loving there new elements range:D)

I wore this dress I got earlier in the week,I love the pattern on the skirt part and it feels so summery:D

Make up from a few weeks back,thou its not overall different form the above make up just the lashes....can you tell im loving my nudy brown lenses??:Dhaha

So back to yesterday I ran into my local TKMaxx to grab some jogging bottoms for athletics and saw they had some ardell lashes in:D and luckily found some demi pixies Mac#7 lookalike lashes.
Unluckily the jogging bottoms did not fit at all and i had to wear my old ones which despite being fresh out of the wash had cat hairs on????:S

On that note I'll finish with my cat who's taken up residence in the box my wc stuff arrived in
