Life:Recent purchases,xmas gifts etc feat MAC,Diamond Lashes,Canmake,RI and more

I've falling so behind in my blogging and commenting ,im trying to catch up but it difficult when you've a backlog of photos from Novermber to post.
Anyways I compiled my "recent" purchases, some of these are from as far back a November:O so it looks like an epic haul post when really its things I've acquired over the last 2 and half months.Just bear that in mind when you view please:)
*VERY IMAGE HEAVY*

From the week before xmas I received a parcel which contained the diamond lashes and Canmake I asked the lovely Emma to get for me in Japan, she also included a letter:),some fliers/promo and a little extra gift of a W<3C sticker(which i currently can't think where to put)
Thank you EmmaXD

From here the items are chronological from November to now:)

I almost brought these when I meet up with Emma in the summer but I talked myself out of it as i was trying to be good with my money. Inevitability I crumbled and couldn't resist.I haven't worn them yet as I haven't had a function I felt they fitted:(

Eyebrow razors from ebay, when I take up close photos of my eye make up I am always annoyed by the little blondish hairs I can see.Silly I know but they bug me.So far I am liking these,it means if I miss a bit of my brow(which I do often) this will catch it.
My younger sister had a friends and family discount thing just before Xmas,I had gone for present buying until it dawned on me that I pretty much already knew what and where I was getting peoples gifts from. Thus trip was pointless. So I ended up with some very pretty Revlon polishes and a few hair products I wanted to try out.
More ebay brow things. Not that impressed with this one.

A Xmas gift from my friend that I naughtily opened early, but in my defence it was small so I was worried it would get lost:D
Picked up some Cath Kidston Cuticle Cream from TKMaxx:D I quite like it

MAC had free shipping before Xmas ,so I picked up the prep+prime powder as my Candydoll powder has finally run out and 2 eye shadows though one of them was a xmas gift from my mum to me.
Xmas
Lol a month late for this....anyways my Christmas was quiet but nice, family and good food.:).
This year I asked for perfume, socks,Girl with the Dragon tattoo book,ds case and candles. There wasn't really anything else I wanted to be honest:O
I was quite shocked to find I had been brought 2 perfumes sets:O
and then pretty much everything I had asked for ..

So I now actually have a collection of perfumes (the Chanel was brought around xmas too)

In the sales...I didn't go to the sales much as I was struck down with a virus. When I was feeling better I got this ring at Accessorize  and the leather jacket from my previous post(which i ended up returning as it didn't suit me)

I never wear gold jewlerry as i don't think its suits me as well as silver does but this is still pretty.

Oh god more MAC(self imposed MAC ban from now on)
Madga posted before about the Dazzleglasses and I just impulsively brought one.
Finally found the Gosh Holographic polish, and theres a better photo of the Barry-m polish i posted in my bb spam.Highly recommend that barry-m colour.

However the same can't be said for the Gosh polish.Gorgeous shade, appalling formula.:(

Again in the most recent post I spoke about a xmas present I got from a friend, unfortunately practicality was an issue and I had to exchange it for a bag that I could actually fit my possessions in.(I spoke to him about it and he was fine with it)
It was such a shame because the other bag was gorgeous and sleek but due to the way the internal compartments where laid out, if I did fit all my things in it I couldn't close it.
 See?TOT

So I exchanged it for these...

This was actually the bag I was originally going to get before I got lured away by the sleekness of the other one.
I've wanted it since September or October (or whenever it popped up in store) I'm really happy with it,it fits all my things in perfectly (with room) and can work for both casual and a little more dressy.:D

PHEWWW epic post,I'll try not to let them build up quite so much next time,.
thank you for reading XD

Nails:MAC Venomous Villains

EEE been busy busy, sorry about that.
So at the beginning of October the MAC Venomous Villains Collection came out, initially when I heard about the release I was really excited and after seeing the swatches I wanted a fair few products. However in the end all I brought was 2 polishes as (at the time) they were very unique and I'm a sucker for anything duo chrome or holographic XD
I was aware that ORLY have dupe polishes in the form of their Cosmic FX collection but that's a very difficult brand for me to get hold of and ironically worked out more expensive (at the time).
*ACCESORIZE (available at Superdrugs in the UK) have just released their new make up line which has 3 polishes that are allegedly dupes~HERE £4 for 10ml*

So I picked up Mean & green and Formidable(bad fairy didn't interest me) at £8 a piece :O most expensive polishes i own now.

On to the photos

Swatches

Overall impression
I've read reviews of some people loving these and some people hating them with the main complaints being that the brushes are rubbish and the consistancy is too thin so they take forever to dry.
Well for me ,I really like them.Their beautiful colours,my brush on Mean & Green is a bit frayed:( but i can live with it.The consistency is thin  but for me it doesn't take ages to dry cos I do 1 thin layer and then a thicker layer followed by a 3rd layer (and sometimes a 4th depending on how opaque i want it) and honestly I can live with that as long as the layer don't feel to thick.
They chip the same as my other polishes but  i really need a better top coat in order to evaluate that better:O

Price~ They are expensive in comparison to other polishes £8 for 10ml( and their limited edition so their probably  insanely priced now on Ebay)
Price comparisons~ Accesorise dupes are £4 for 10ml,OPI can be £9 for 15ml(Ive never paid that much but thats their rrp)  and Barry-m are £2.95 for 10ml

If your interested in these,I'd probably go for the ORLY ones or Accessories ones as their probably cheaper and easier to get hold of.:D
EDIT:a few better pictures of them in natural light

Make up:MAC lipsticks

So in my previous hauls post I showed my two new MAC lipsticks but I saved the swatches and talking about them for this post:D

As I said before I've grown a little tired of nude and pink lips,I still love them but I fancied a bit of a mix up.As for the great gyaru debate~ "gyaru don't wear brights!!only nudes!!"  Tbh I'm not overaly bothered by  it as I just wear what I like and I think there are plenty of gyaru~model or western alike who wear brights and still look gyaru:D
So back to the post....
I have some bright lipsticks already ( my Revlons ) but their Matte (formula descriptions summary~HERE) which can be drying and personally I think they need a liner.

So here the MAC I picked up ,both are Amplified Cremes(which are High impact and high color formulas) ,I picked up Vegas Volt described on the MAC site as a "Full Power Coral" and Impassioned described as a "Amped Up Fuchsia"

Pardon the crappy lip photos, they were a tad rushed.
 Vegas Volt

Impassioned

My MAC lipstick collection so far..

Here they are swatched with Creme cup which is a cremesheen

So what do I think of them:
(DISCLAIMER~Not recommending as different colours suit different people and different products react differently as well,i.e one product might be a persons HG  but for another it just wont work. This is just my thoughts and opinions on them)

Creme cup was an impulse buy which I don't regret in the slightest :D(I seldom impulse buy anymore and if I impulsively want something when Im out ,I usually still have my  willpower to talk me out it buying it:D )
Described on the MAC website as a "Light Blue pink" which I think is pretty true, its perfect for me to wear as an everyday lipstick. The formula is gorgeous, not drying and quite moisturing (but not as much as my YSL).I often pop it on for work:D

As for Impassioned and Vegas Volts, I'm usually kinda shy of bright lipsticks .So it was completely out of character for me to get either of them, but I am very happy with them.Their opaque, creamy and super pigmented. Surprisingly they last a fair bit and so far*touch wood* hasn't left me with the dreaded lip ring thing some lipsticks do when they've faded:O

Price:£12.50 (thou I got Impassioned free with my back to MAC ) To me that is and  isn't expensive if that makes sense, there are certainly cheaper lipsticks but there are also plenty that are double the price.Besides I'm a quality over quantity and price kinda girl so if a products definitely works and is amazing I'll surely consider buying it.

Amplified creme  and Cremesheen are so apt for these lipsticks formulas. For me I can safely say these lipsticks are in my most loved collection alongside my YSL Rouge Volupte #7.

Next on my wish list is MAC Russian Red and YSL Rouge Volupte, Rouge Pur and Rough Pur Couture(yerr I liked my YSL that much I want more)

Do you wear bright lipsticks?Whats your favourite?

Life/Make up:Haul post feat:Urban decay,MAC and new boots

I had planned on this post being up mid last week but my wireless adapters broken and consequently I'm having to use the family computer(which i don't like and doesn't have any of my programs or photos on:()

Anyways this is a haul post of a few items I've brought recently

I hate it that companies all have different sizing and fits, annoys me.These boots are a 6 but they feel very loose,I tried on the 5s thou and they'd have crushed my toes:( so 6 it was,I can deal with it, just wish sizes where more accurate.I can be a tiny size in some shops and then others I'm a significantly lot bigger~confusssing :S

Recently make up buys, from the looks of thing I've been very naughty but the Urban Decay items where significantly reduced at my local T J Hugh(and sealed I might add,cos I hate buying unsealed make up)
The eye shadow was £3.99 instead of  £12.50 and the brow box was £6.99 instead of £15.99

Picked up the new Sleek shimmer blush in Rose Gold after I'd read other blogs and heard people say it was a dupe for NARS orgasm blush (one day I'll buy it ,I swear) but for the time being I'm very happy with my Sleek dupe seeing as its £3.99 instead of NARS £19.50 :O
I also unexpectedly visited my nearest MAC when my mum and I took my cousins to Cambridge. So I took the opportunity and Back to MAC my containers to pick up a free lipstick and get an empty palette for my shadows.
However I couldn't decided on which one ,it was a choice of Vegas Volt and Impassioned (thou Hana's talk of Russian Red on twitter greatly tempted me:S) as recently I've had a really craving for a coral lipstick which just manifested into a craving for bright lipsticks in general.:O
I've just grown a little bored of pinks and nudes.Don't get me wrong,I still love them but I fancied a change.
In the end I couldn't decide and just brought the other lipstick,so I got Impassioned free and paid for Vegas Volt(pictures coming up in other post)

My current MAC collection(I didn't  just buy all theses ,I've collected them over a period of time)
Here's what it looked like this time last year only really change surprisingly is the lipsticks and me putting my eyeshadows into empty palettes. Oh and the 2 polishes I picked up from the VV collection(saved for another post thou:D)
This is the tutorial I used to depot my shadows,if anyones interested~HERE

Now for swatches:)

Comparison photos of my current eyebrow powder(NYX) and the new Urban Decay one I brought.

Both my Sleek blushes swatches together including the newest one~ both have great pigmentation.

The new UD shadows I got and I also picked up a product that transforms any shadows into a liner~Its clear but here I've used it with  Barry-M dazzle dust,it's more of a novelty item to me but it's still impressive.:)

All my MAC eye shadows swatched just because I've never done it before

Thank you for reading:D
Feel free to ask questions and I hope you all enjoyed it:)

Purchases

Figured I'd post a little recent purchases post,I haven't be buying alot the last 3/4 months as I've been trying to save:D

I forgot I also picked this up when I went to Cambridge at the beginning of August. My 1st MAC lipstick, its Cremecup which is a cremesheen. So far I really like it.

When I met up with Bloomzy at the end of August,I got a usamimi finally:D my 1st pair of ballet pumps(none have ever stayed on my feet before) Sleek contour kit(love) and some baby shampoo for my make up brushes(yep exciting:D)

From my trip to London at the beginning of September I visited the Inglot store in the Westfield centre.I am hooked! It was the main reason I went tbh,but I also went into other shops and did find a bowler hat in H&M,which I brought and then had to return cos it was too small:( so now im bowler less again.

This is what I went for........the freedom system
What is it? Its a system that lets you customise you palettes you can pick from 2,3,5,10 etc etc lip, blushes, eyeshadows, face powder..etc
Basically when you go in you have a magnetic board and go around the centre island picking up pans and putting them on you board. When you done the assistant takes them away, gets you new ones and puts them in your new palette.
Here what I picked,I tried to pick colours i didn't have already:D LOVE IT

I wondered into River Island sometime last week(to originally pick up some Henry Holland tights i couldn't stop thinking about:O) and I came out with this.My 1st maxi dress,I like alot of other ones I'd seen but they didn't fit right,H&M's were see-throughish and about a foot longer then me(:O and im 5'9) Love this one thou, long sleeved ,not too clingy, tie dye... only wish it was a tad longer but oh well:D

and finally I had to return the previous mention bowler:( and the nearest H&M is in Cambridge so i took a little shopping trip on my own in search of replacing it but they had none.As i was leaving thou a bandage skirt caught my eye and when i tried it on ,i liked the way it fitted.
Also took a trip to Primark, found ..nothing except a cute hotwater bottle.Seriously i found nothing i wanted in there and its a big Primark.
Somethings were nice but the quality of the item was nasty and cheap(yes i know its a cheap shop) but I'd just prefer to pay extra and know its better made and gonna last(hence my fave shops are Zara,RI and H&M ..sometimes)

As you can see in the pic I visited the MAC shop, I ONLY purchases an empty palette so I'd like to point out that those are my original shadows I depotted and put into to the palette.(just forgot to photo it empty:O)

and then there is this......looks naf on the hanger but its such a cute little dress.Feels alittle  Kelly Brookeish,Wei son,Maya(perhaps?),vintage to me.I love that the skirt sits high on the waist but doesn't make me look massive(well to me it doesn't:D)

FIN XD

Still to come vids ,reviews and tutorials...i haven't forgotten
